Dr Jill Murie: I have been a GP [Lanark Health Centre] and police surgeon in Lanark since l985. My interest in public health began early in my career when I was involved in Lanark YMCA and YCare. In 1991, I developed a community-based health promotion programe, Lanark Health Club now Lanark Exercise Group, and in 2000 Clydesdale Community Forum, now Clydesdale United. I am now an Associate Adviser in General Practice for Lanarkshire but retain an active interest in community affairs through Clydesdale Local Healthcare Co-operative, Clydesdale Citizens Advice Bureau and Clydesdale United. My specialist interests include health needs assessment, education and training, quality and clinical effectiveness and information technology.
Yvonne Paterson: Clydesdale United member, and currently working for British Red Cross Branch, Hamilton.
Celia Payne: Clydesdale United member representing Lesmahagow area.
Stephen Smith: Former Chair of Clydesdale Forum, Treasurer of CLydesdale United, member of Lanarkshire Health Council, Clydesdale Local Healthcare Co-operative and Primary Care Trust Board meetings.
Robert Wilson: Douglas Representative on Clydesdale United. I am Chair of Douglas Valley Rural Activity Partnership [DVRP], Secretary of Friends of Lady Home Hospital, Douglas, Vice Chair of Douglasdale Players, Elder of St Bride's Church, Ex-Chair of St Brides Centre, Douglas and Former Housing Officer of South Lanarkshire Council.
